Last November, two talented individuals came together to form the duo, Galantis. Linus Eklow of Style of Eye and Christian Karlsson aka one third of Miike Snow got down, got creative and started releasing some supremely dance – worthy songs. Slowly, the name Galantis has been garnering attention in the industry for all the right reasons. Their breakout single ‘Smile’ got the seal of approval from music moguls like Diplo, Steve Angello and Kaskade, who even went on to create his own edit of the song.

“When we started Galantis, we set out to challenge each other and experiment with all of the sounds and ideas that we find exciting. We built a studio on a small island in the Baltic Sea and our surroundings became a source of inspiration for the EP,” the groups says in a joint statement. The song “Revolution,” meanwhile,  “can be interpreted however you want, for us it’s about our daily chase of that perfect beat.”

Their perpetual experimentation has produced the almost big room, electronic genius of an EP comprising of 6 tracks which include memorable vocals and a melodic glorious progressive beat which takes you higher throughout. Together, they seem to have carved out a niche which will soon have the cult following associated with artists such as The Chainsmokers and Vicetone. Hear their debut EP below, I know I’ve been waiting for months!

Galantis will head to Indio, Calif. to make its live debut at Coachella on Apr. 12. After playing both weekends of the festival, the duo will embark on a brief U.S. tour, which begins on Apr. 24 in Washington, D.C
