London based DJ and Producer Ali Wilson has always been adored for his unique blend of tribal tech with driving trance and the resultant uplifting soundscapes that he creates. Known for monster anthems such as the ever-lasting “Pandora“, “Lights of Aether” and “Nyx“, the powerhouse producer recently relaunched his label Tekelec Sessions, certifying his intent to make the coming months a roller-coaster ride of exciting prospects to look forward to! Here he teams up with Dutch independent label Black Hole Recordings to release phantasmic 21-track compilation cleverly titled ‘Tribe-olution‘.

Scouting talents from all around the world, Ali selects a delectable menu of the freshest sounds across the progressive, tech-tribal and uplifting trance spectrum. The compilation features some anthemic productions as well as some intense progressive meltdowns, creating a synergy of sounds and styles, making this an irresistible collection of assorted delights! Here’s what Ali had to say about the compilation.

The mix was a labour of love, I didn’t want it to just be another compilation with tracks made up of Beatport hits, I wanted to give fans something fresh, whilst focusing on delivering a seamless mix at the same time. Listeners can expect a nice progressive tone and then powerful builds into a harder techier dance-floor vibe as you journey throughout the mix.

Kicking off with a progressive delight in the guise of Giddy & Jamie K‘s ‘Veritas‘ and Ido‘s ‘The Sting‘ some light piano work and bouncy synth affairs respectively, get us right into the revolutionary mode as the powerful melodies from Inge Bergmann feat. Ramsey Westwood‘s monster production ‘Magnum‘ and Anske‘s ‘Blurry life‘ will have you making a bee line for the dancefloor! Some smashing remixes from the likes of Maison & Dragen, Blasterjaxx, Danilo Ercole and a hard-hitting rework by Agnelli and Nelson ensures that the assortment is aurally metamorphosed into a heady concoction of meticulously crafted gems! From his own personal closet, Ali Wilson drops 4 of his own brand new productions as well as a reinvented Tekelec remix on Ad Brown‘s ‘Pulse‘. Tracks like ‘Air Raid‘ show the range of his sounds as he dives into a unique Tech-tribal feel before delivering some usual Wilson-esque synths via ‘Tech Effect‘, ‘Never Back down‘ and ‘Dionysus‘.
