Been playing music since the tender age of 6, Nils had been influenced by many alternate genres before he settled in for Electronica. Perhaps it was his admiration for Indie Rock, Jazz, Soul and Hip Hop early on, that explains the organic nature of his productions and remixes. He lists his influences through artists such as Trentmoller, Bon Iver and Yann Tiersen as he always tries to combine the warm sound of live instruments with more clinical synthesizer sounds. His remixes and originals can be best described as melodic and deeply emotive. Brazing through genres of deep house and deep tech, Nils often curates his own sonic territory where most of his creations find fruition. His first ever EP ‘Verwunschen‘ on Lochmann Records, caused one too many to sit up and take up notice of his sensational ability as an artist, but it was through his tracks like “Balloons“, which pulled of a staggering 1.5 million views on YouTube thus far, and his remix for Nhan Solo & Stee DownesLettin’ You Down” that he was came under the spotlight and became a certified talent to look for amongst the future of Dance Music.
