Detroit based techno pioneer, Jeff Mills is set to appear in a new film as well as provide the score for it. It has been made known that, Man From Tomorrow, directed by French filmmaker Jacqueline Caux, is split into two parts – the first made up of images paired with the soundtrack produced by Mills while the second focuses on interviews between him and Caux.
This however, isn’t the first time Caux has worked with superstars from the realms of dance music, producing and directing Cycles of the Mental Machine in 2006, which featured artists such as Carl Craig and Mike Banks of the Underground Resistance.
Now many of us fans who are fans of old school techno would certainly be keen on hearing what the magician cooks up, though from what is known as of now, Man From Tomorrow is set to premiere at the Louvre in Paris on February 2nd before a second showing in Berlin on February 19th.
