Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklow (AKA Style of Eye) have come together to form the duo now known as Galantis. They debuted with their song ‘Smile’ and dance music stalwarts sat up and took notice. A couple of days ago Kaskade hinted a new edit, his first one for 2014. And in the following days promoted the duo and released a special edit of the already enjoyable song.

Speaking to Billboard he said, “Rather than remixing it and changing its essence, I wanted to keep all of the things I love about the original and make an edit that would bring my favorite elements to the forefront, and make it work in my sets.” The result was an electro thriller of a song, one I want to hear everywhere! In the car, on the dancefloor, even while working. The originals elements are maintained, while bringing Kaskade’s signature style to the forefront. What’s his style?
