The world seems to be eating up Avicii’s style of country/dance music.
His single “Wake Me Up” has continued to hold on to peak position at the Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Charts for fourteen weeks, making it the longest-running single in the history of the chart. It has even beet Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” which held on to the number 1 spot for thirteen weeks in a row.
What’s more, his single “Hey Brother” has just moved on to the number 9 spot, making him have 2 of his releases featured in the billboard top 10
Avicii’s is faring even better on the Dance/Electronic Digital Songs chart (which tracks downloaded tracks), with ‘Wake Me Up’ at number one and ‘Hey Brother’ shooting up to the number four spot.
