So, it’s almost Christmas and while I’m not sure Santa Claus will be paying us a visit, someone equally exciting and from the same region (more or less) will be giving you the greatest gift he can – his music.
The last time we saw him, his hit song was just blowing up into one of the biggest tracks of the year and now two years later, India is gearing up to welcome him – just a little louder, just a little bigger and a whole lot crazier. So India, get ready for the star who’s going to get you leveled – Avicii!
In honour of his impending visit, here are 10 things to look forward to:
1. Avicii has some serious swag:
He knows how to make a concert an experience and sometimes he even outdoes Kanye in the setup. If that isn’t swagger, I don’t know what is, and besides, his fist pump has been outdone by none.
2. He loves his fans and never ceases to show them that. And of course, we love him too!
3. He’s Swedish so you know he’s going to be good. Sorry for the generalization but you know it’s true
4. He models for Ralph Lauren, so he’s a certified model now. Ladies, I’m looking at you!
5. Avicii’s lyrics are memorable and you can always sing along to them
6. He’s going to get you completely leveled with his beats and you’re going to love it!
7. He’s got a face that could launch a thousand festivals and we all know it!
8. Veni, Vidi, AVICII! He rules every festival he headlines, hence the popular new slogan for him! He’s the Caesar of the dance music world.
9. He blends genres together to create beautiful melodies so his music can be enjoyed by everyone and anyone, so if you love music, you’ll love Avicii
10. And guys, he’s in the top 3 – that’s enough of a reason to go and see his brilliance live!
11. He plays levels at the start, somewhere in the middle and in the end. He will also play an acoustic version of levels on request.
12. He has special skills to press button and raise his hand completely in sync.
