When three young and freshly off the charts and hot on the dance floor DJs come together to put together a brilliant track, the result is astonishing. Mike Hawkins, Henry Fong and Toby Green are young names who have recently released a track titled “Hot Steppa” under Spinnin Records.

Slightly reminiscent of Skrillex’s ‘ Make it Bun Dem’ up primarily for the loud beats, this track compresses the melody of big room and electro house into one. Through various transitional drum fills come a hint of triplets that foreshadow characteristics of the group’s compositional choices. The trio integrates a strong dancehall vibe with brass horn-like synth leads and regular stabs on the up-beat, creating a nice bounce feel.
