Ellum Audio boss, Maceo Plex teams up with half of the duo Odd Parents, Maars, and vocalist Florence Bird on the latest outing for his imprint. “Going Back” is the tech-infused deep house cut that has been played throughout the summer months, which was finally released on October 7th 2013. Melancholy takes a whole different meaning with this one as the aggressive percussions of the track make way for the mournful vocals of Florence Bird. The release comes with a dubbed out version that leaves the vocals behind, giving it a darker and gloomier effect.

Sadness sets in, as the track begins with deep crisp chords and monotonous beats. The pace picks up as a flute like infusion makes its presence felt as the voice of Florence descends. A unique turn-you-mad kind of a track this should definitely be on your pick up list if you want to enjoy a different kind of  dance music.
