Back to the business of dishing out quality remixes is Michael Brun’s forte, and we can’t think of many producers who do such a fine job. Taking on Alicia Keys & Maxwell’s Fire We Make, Brun has done an absolutely remarkable re-work, fine-tuning it into an extremely chilled progressive number, with hints of tribal undertones (probably due to his Haitian roots, maybe?) An emotive driven tune, Brun’s steady tempos and his distinctive synths are heard quite clearly throughout the song, and he’s done well to incorporate the melancholy vocals throughout his version.

A mixture of electro, progressive house, and a little pop all combined with tribal Afro percussions, this one is briliant. Watch out for Brun’s EP Gravity, which is scheduled for its release on Sept. 19th. Till then, check it out below!
