The young and talented minds of Arctic Moon and Paul Webster think equally and with this we can surely say that the future of trance music is in safe hands. ‘Valhalla’, the first of hopefully many more collaborations between the Polish and UK producers, is a real gem that will shine as bright as emerald. Released on Future Sound of Egypt, which is the much-adored trance label of Egypt duo Aly & Fila who presently tour the world celebrating the release of their brand new album and the 300 episodes of their beloved radio show.
Setting an illustration for the uplifting trance genre, the original mix of ‘Valhalla’ is uplifting at its best and most open with acid overtones and psy trance influences. The banging beats and the deep booming bass lines are surely enough to keep the journey going for long accompanied by a breakdown that is pure joy with arousing piano melodies and cool cinematic vocal samples that build the tension perfectly towards in the air climax.
Adam Ellis is the most talked about producer at the moment and he seems to raise his standing with anything he releases. Giving it a rough tech-trance edge with acid character, his remix of Valhalla is sharper, deadlier and punchier rework with many pauses and wide variety of nice effects.
As a small bonus treat, FSOE also brings you Arctic Moon’s ‘We Are In The Crowd’ in this package. A rough tech trance track with the right ingredients to ignite the audience and spellbind them with orchestral epic theme followed by huge synths to push them to their limits, it’s purely a work of dedication by Arctic.
The EP is out now and you can buy it here on Beatport.
