Andrew Bayer – Need Your Love (Original + Phonat Remix)

Andrew Bayer - Need Your Love (Original Mix) [Preview]

While you’re waiting for Andrew Bayer’s England/Detuned/Need Your Love Club Mixes Ep to come out, Anjunabeats has already released a package of goodies to satiate your appetite for electronic wholesomeness.

The Need Your Love Original And Phonat Remixes have released today. Oh Joy!

Andrew Bayer – Need Your Love (Original Mix)

Your first serving for this delectable meal comes in the form of the Original Mix. Starting off with a serene, unworldly piano progression, before breaking in to a slow, break-type beat. This layered under a very simple guitar+crystal riff, that breaks into ambient, space like synths. The beat picks up again with ethereal vocals, while the synths break into tubular crystals in the background. To add to this space-age ambiance, Andrew’s proficiency with the piano can be heard as he’s added a beautiful, soulful piano scale. This is the second single from the album to get it’s own release. And we’re all aware of how much praise the album has gotten for being intelligent, and utterly emotional at the same time, this single is testament to all that praise.

Andrew Bayer – Need Your Love (Phonat Remix)

The second helping, served up by one of OWSLA’s star children, Phonat, comes in a very unexpectedly piquant, mouth-watering glitch manifestation. Starting off with a laid-back, tranquil guitar strumming of the original’s riff,  He later goes on to add a beautiful synth-vibrato, very chirpy chip-tune leads and chopped up samples of the original’s vocals intelligently spaced between what could be described as sheer musical genius.

The Need Your Love EP is out on Anjunabeats and you can buy this rare piece of musical mastery on beatport here.
