Skrillex’s official website gets hacked!

OWSLA boss and dubstep kingpin, Sonny Moore has unfortunately been the victim of a hacker who goes by the alias “Eboz”. Back in November 2012, the Turkish hacker targeted over 280 Pakistani domains, including the official sites of Apple, Microsoft, and Google in a massive DNS hack.

That said, the Skrillex attack certainly represents a change of pace for “Eboz”. Access skrillex.com and all you will see is an image of two penguins wistfully waddling across a bridge against a sunset background with two lines of text written in Turkish. At the top of the page in red is written “eboz”, and below the photo there is the text, “dubstepci sikirlex hacked!”

The last line of text is hidden, and appears to be a note to any would-be impersonators to back off.

Rather than using the hacks to make a political point (like the Syrian Electronic Army), Eboz’s calling card is a simple Turkish-language page, poetically proclaiming:

“My homies are always with me, among friends,

Is there anyone not with me in every breath I take?

Greetings to friends; we’re not dead, still living,

I have nothing to do with Facebook, Twitter, or forum accounts”.

Skrillex, for his part however, seems unfazed by today’s events:
