Deadmau5 has gone on quite a spree lately with a flurry of delightful SoundCloud sweets, whether trolling or not.
His latest upload comes to us as an ambient downtempo offering featuring a more expressive percussion style than we’ve previously heard from the Canadian producer. Titled “Entschuldigen Sie”, which is German for ‘sorry’, this fresh 2 minute long foray into, as he calls it, ‘whateverstep’, showcases a wide array of discordant sounds that make up the marvellous melody.
There’s an unbridled emotion in this track that certainly infuses in it something special. Eschewing the usual four-to-the-floor straight beat style, this more experimental broken beat suite seems like a result of Joel’s prowess and skill which has left astounded at the talent the man possess from time to time.
todays project: i think ill mic up the steinway and record piano for a new suite thats been kicking around in my head—

Whether Deadmau5 is apologizing to his fans for his latest spouts of anger at Afrojack and the scene, or whether his apology is directed at Kat Von D, remains unknown. All we know is that we fully support the artist releasing more of this type of work, and always will.
