Having just released their sophomore album titled Ice On The Dune, Australian electro duo Empire Of The Sun are all set to produce the score for the forthcoming film by the Farrelly brothers, Dumb and Dumber To, a sequel to Dumb and Dumber, the 1994 hit starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprising their half-wit characters. The Farrelly brothers tweeted a few days ago about this bit of info, even providing a review of their latest album.

Empire Of The Sun practically survive on their vivacious theatrical imagery. Their music videos, live performances and even their teasers are all complex that obviously strive to be uniquely remembered. So, it’s really no shock that they’d divert themselves into Hollywood.
