Hailing from the capital city of Tel Aviv, Felix Nazgorsky(aka Time Lock) and Eli Baltsan(aka DJ Zombi) have silently, yet consistently made their mark in the world of electronic dance music. Coming from Israel, we’re not surprised, the dance music scene has constantly evolved there . What’s remarkable is that both these artists, singularly, specialize in completely different sub-genres. Whilst Felix is a success into the international psychedelic scene, Eli is one of the leading progressive house DJs. Each of them are a force to reckon with, but when put together, they’re quite untouchable, we think.

Establishing a name in the tech-house industry is infinitely tough, with competition from all parts of the world, but it seems as if the sky’s the limit for the Weekend Heroes. Having received praise and support by renowned veterans such as Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Funkagenda, Jerome Isma-Ae amongst others, their music does speak for itself. Also having featured on numerous radio shows, namely Above & Beyond’s Trance Around The World (Now: Group Thereapy), these guys have made quite a name for themselves.

Now, Air Snare Records, together with Shark+Ink,  is bringing one half of these tech superstars, DJ Zombi, to play at Canvas, Mumbai, as part of their JumpStart Nights initiative. JumpStart focuses on promoting tech/techno/progressive sounds.  this Friday promises to be a wild one, if you like your beats thumping, and your bass lines minimal and raw.

Whats more, is that we’ve got sets by one of the most popular duo on the Indian EDM scene, DJ Whosane! and Anastasia. Plus, a killer opening set by DJ Mikhail and stellar visuals by Melting Galaxy
