Jeremy Olander Set To Dominate Internet Radio Waves With New Radio Show
After his Frisky Radio Artist of the Week mix aired in late 2012, which held the number 1 spot on the Frisky charts for 2 straight weeks as the most popular mix, Jeremy Olander is now set to host his very own show. Entitled Vivrant Radio, it is set to air quarterly and vows to deliver new exclusive records from Jeremy Olander and his alter ego Dhillon, as well as from friends and up and coming talent.
“I’ve been wanting to have a place somewhere that I can call home where my own radio show brand can live, grow and develop to more than just a radio show in the longer term. When Frisky got in touch after I did the Artist of the Week mix for them last year it felt like a great place to start,” said Jeremy. Founded in 2001, Frisky Radio is an independent online electronic dance music radio station on the forefront of quality underground dance music. With more than 90 exclusive shows hosted by artists in the likes of 16 Bit Lolitas, Nick Muir, Jody Wisternoff, Eelke Kleijn, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren and many more, Olander is undoubtedly in the right company with new and old dance music innovators.
“As much as I want an output for my own stuff, I want to be able to help others get their music out to the world too. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet people that have helped me so much along the way and I think it’s important to pass the same favor on to someone else,” he continues. Rated as the number 1 online radio station for the ‘Progressive House’ genre according to comScore, Olander’s show will have a reach spanning 140 countries, the Nokia Internet Radio Network, Blackberry, Android, iPhone, Logitec devices, Radio Roku and more. With Vivrant Radio, Olander is making the most out of his current momentum stemming from his anticipated return to Pryda Friends with the infectious Beatport Top 10 record ‘Let Me Feel’. It saw exceptional radio and club support from the likes of Eric Prydz, Tiësto, Sander Van Doorn, Annie Mac, Adrian Lux, Eddie Halliwell, Axwell, Above & Beyond, Pete Tong and is already dubbed as the record of 2013.
Vivrant Radio premiers Monday April 22 at 11 AM PST, 2 PM EST, 8PM CET here. Available 10 days post air date here.
