The past few weeks for Avicii have been a bit bumpy. Some speculate the controversy to be a shrewd marketing strategy of manager Ash Pournouri, some dismiss it off as a stroke of bad luck. Either way, the Swede has succeeded in shooting right into the centre of the scene, with some saying his set at Ultra was horrible, and some fully supporting the “experimentation” and “showing the endless possibilities of house music”.

With an impending album, all this criticism is only working in Avicii’s favour! Nevertheless, forget there was the banjo and all the commotion; enjoy an hour of good music keeping in mind that before this concoction brewed up, Avicii was (and still is) a talented and crafty artist with the capability of taking the world by storm with each of his tracks.
