Armin van Buuren announces 5th album: ‘Intense’

Yup, that’s right! The legendary Dutch DJ & producer, whose name is synonymous with the Electronic Dance Music industry, will be releasing his 5th album, ‘Intense’ on 3rd May. The former mentioned made his announcement during his radio show ‘A State Of Trance (ASOT)’ this week. This is the first album to follow up after his chart-hitting album ‘Mirage’, which certainly was a head-turner in the industry.

Armin van Buuren himself had this to say about the album:

”It’s been an intense 2 years in the making. Being a perfectionist, some of these tracks have taken me months to finish. I’ve tried to incorporate as many real instruments as possible, including a live orchestra and the rock band of my brother Eller, Bagga Bownz. It’s been an honour to work with such talented artists, singers and songwriters.”

The album’s artwork will be released on 7th March, during an episode of his show ‘A State Of Trance’, while the tracklist and collaborators will be released soon after.

Armin van Buuren is currently on his ASOT 600: The Expedition Tour and is expected to play in Mumbai as part of the India leg on March 16th. He will be accompanied by Arnej, Aly & Fila, Shogun & Rank1.

The album will be released via Armin’s label, Armada.
