As if the regular edition of Rihanna Unapologetic didn’t already have enough dance tracks on it, the UK digital version of the album came packed with an official remix of the smash hit “Diamonds” from Congorock, who’s been stacking releases on Fool’s Gold and Ultra Music. For his rework of “Diamonds,” he ditches the majority of Rihanna’s singing (aside from that soaring chorus) and builds this one up into a gritty jam that’s sure to pack the dancefloor when it drops.The remix still retains some of the delicacy of the original’s melodies, but adds in intervals of raw energy that truly take this track from radio-friendly jam to big-room banger.
