As Thanksgiving approaches this upcoming Thursday, Webster Hall is giving everybody an early Thanksgiving treat with its annual Bassgiving Event featuring a DJ set from Pendulum , Foreign Beggers, Caspa, Alex English, Tittsworth, and many more big time acts that will be shaking the classic Webster Hall dance floor up and down all night. As it has been mentioned in a previous Throwback Thursday article, Pendulum has officially split up as a group regarding making new music due to the fact that their lead singer Rob Swire and bass guitarist Gareth McGrillen have become to busy touring the world as the dynamic duo known as Knife Party. There are a plethora of events that take place in New York City the night before Thanksgiving, but there is no question that the place to be Thanksgiving Eve is Webster Hall (located 125 East 11th Street). Some places charge a minimum of $50-$100 just to enter the club/venue on Thanksgiving eve and unfortunately all they offer you are small time local dj’s/performers while Webster is charging $25 for this bass-loaded lineup making it a no brainer to what the hottest destination is the night before turkey day. Heres the link for tickets: http://websterhall.com/nightclub/bassgiving_112112.php and here are are some tracks from Pendulum Caspa, and Foreign Beggars that you might want to listen to:
Pendulum:
If you want to hear more Pendulum tracks, you can check out the Throwback Thursday article written by yours truly right here: http://thebanginbeats.wordpress.com/2012/10/11/throwback-thursday-2/
Foreign Beggars:
This song was the first song they dropped when I saw them live a couple of months ago, and the music video does a perfect job representing what a Foreign Beggars show is like, pure madness!
Caspa:
This is a very old Caspa remix and they have change a little bit throughout the years but all successful artists must grow and expand to stay relevant. This track is a Bangin’ Beats favorite.
