If you still don’t know who Oshi is, then behold the future of dance music. The London based 17 year old talent (Yes, you read that right!) has already garnered millions of SoundCloud plays and also boasts of a rare feat. Joshua recently became the youngest artist to play a set at the legendary Boiler Room. Known for his eclectic style which draws inspiration from underground pioneers like Mr. Carmack and is a unique blend of hip-hop and sweet melodies, the underdog talent continues to rise to the top.
Recently though, Oshi might have just teased the biggest achievement in his career so far. Taking to Snapchat, the youngster posted a video of what looked like a potential collaboration with industry heavyweight Skrillex as the file name suggested “skrillexoshi_master.” Also, as reported, the brief video doesn’t reveal much as the nine seconds mostly showcase sounds of possible guitar work.
Although, the only negative point which seems to be in sight is the caption the visuals read.
“its never coming out ever.”
Elaborate I would say, but let us just hope that a collaboration of such enormity which can almost change the game for Oshi and put him on the world map should not be held back by any means. Till then, keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best!
