The Exchange X AVA Electronic Music Conference & Showcase Is Here!

The Exchange And AVA Festival Have Special Plans In Store!

After announcing a newly formed partnership, The Exchange and AVA (Audio Visual Art Showcase) have unveiled big plans for their forthcoming Electronic Music Conference & Artist Showcase which will bring together some of the brightest and talented professionals from both countries and connect on an intellectual basis.

Bringing you up to speed, The Exchange is the highly promising collaboration platform brought into life by British High Commission and Submerge in 2014, essentially curated to promote businesses related to the music industry in the UK and India. The ambitious initiative by UK Trade and Investment has seen enormous success in its past two editions.

On the other hand, The Audio Visual Art showcase is a groundbreaking annual new festival and conference held at Belfast, Ireland which looks closely at best practice and developments in the electronic music sector and at creative and business connections into the wider digital and visual sectors. The event included a debut Irish Boiler Room, and headline DJ set by Bicep.

The single day showcase will look to host some of UK and India’s electronic DJ/performers and digital marketers to bring out a series of panels and hold discussions to stimulate conversations, networks and skills in where the global electronic sector is headed in 2016, and how the two countries’ key electronic stakeholders can create new collaborations and partnerships in its development.

The day conference will feature speakers including Sarah Mc Briar from AVA, Paul Hamill of Inflyte App and legendary electronic music producer Phil Kieran. Joining the distinguished speakers will be AV producers Guerilla Shout who specialize in video work with club culture, Sentric Music, Rupak Saluja (Founder & Chief Executive Officer of The 120 Media Collective & Sooperfly), Visual Jockey Kaycee, Pixadoo Motion Art and the AVA Festival. The closing keynote address will be given by one of the UK music industry’s electronic pioneers Mark Lawrence (also Chief Exec of the The Association for Electronic Music (AFEM)) .
