Four Tet has uploaded a club-friendly rework of “Seesaw” – his dreamy 2013 collaboration with Jamie xx. The track was originally an instrumental before fellow The xx band-mate Romy’s soulful vocal work became an integral part of it. It also appeared on Jamie’s In Colour album.
This beautiful, alternate version is bouncy, but light with distinctive drums and arrangement. It’s been remodeled for the dance floor and DJ sets and we think it works wonderfully. The combination of synths and percussion makes you want to start grooving instantly.
