Native Instruments has released a new video recently, showing the mixing with their one of the most anticipated feature to be released this August, Stem Decks. Stems –  as NI says, is a new, open music format designed for creative DJing, which gives you 4 different sub-tracks, which are generally set as Bass, Vocals, Drums and Synths. With the new Traktor Kontrol D2, you can use the stem decks, which is shown effectively in the video. With extraordinary features like effects, loop and volume controls on every single stem give an edge to the new update. Instead of using EQ controls, the job of DJing becomes more interactive with stem controls. Instant edits and mashups can be created live easily with stems. Although stems are not a new thing for the DJs who use Ableton Live to perform, but this feature can be a very first step for a DJ who just beat syncs track after track to more lively performances as stems gives more room for experiments and creativity. Check out the video below and let us know what you think of it.
