Borgore has been known to put out killer remixes, be it for dance music artists or rock bands. While his list of remixes for dance music artists obviously outnumbers his remixes for rock bands, that still doesn’t change the fact his remixes for artists outside the dance music bubble have been phenomenal. So in anticipation of his upcoming shows in Mumbai and Delhi, we bring you a list of his top 5 remixes for rock bands

 

1. Metallica – Master Of Puppets (Borgore’s Drunk Again Remix)

Remixing one of the greatest bands on the face of the Earth is definitely a big deal. Taking Metallica’s classic track and one of the heaviest songs of all time, ‘Master of Puppets‘, Borgore gives the track a dubstep spin, keeping intact the original riff by Kirk Hammett, Borgore introduces distorted bass with a hard hitting percussive line coupled with textured synths, with James Hetfield‘s vocals in the background.

2. Bring Me The Horizon – It Never Ends (Borgore VIP Remix)

Taking on metalcore this time, Borgore remixed British band Bring Me To The Horizon‘s track ‘It Never Ends‘, giving it a complete dubstep makeover, complete with heavy, distorted bass lines,  a hard hitting percussive line that’s matched in energy by BMTH’s vocalist Olver Sykes‘ screaming hooks.

3. Asking Alexandria – The Final Episode (Borgore’s Die Bitch Remix)

Taking on another British metalcore band, Borgore remixed Asking Alexandria‘s track ‘The Final Episode‘ into another dubstep remix, with distorted screaming hooks of lead singer Danny Worsnop, coupled with a heavy, distorted bass line and a hard hitting percussive line.

4. AWOLNATION – Sail (Borgore Remix)

Moving from metalcore bands to electronic rock bands, Borgore remixed American electronic band AWOLNATION’s single ‘Sail’ from their debut album Megalithic Symphony into a drum & bass wonder. Lead vocalist Aaron Bruno’s powerful vocals coupled with Borgore’s arrangement moving towards the breakdown, a catchy bassline  and synth progressions, turn the original track into a drum & bass banger.

5. Gorillaz – Clint Eastwood (Borgore’s Drinking Is Bad  Bootleg Remix)

Taking on another electronic rock band, Borgore remixed one of the most popular virtual bands of all time, Gorillaz. Taking their iconic song ‘Clint Eastwood‘, Borgore gave it a dubstep spin, with a heavy, distorted bass line and a hard hitting percussive line. and  catchy looped up synths kicking off the remix.
