Martijn Garritsen, better known by his stage name Martin Garrix has single-handedly overturned every odd against him to reach dizzying heights of fame and fortune. Building on hit after hit, the Dutch wonderkid seems to be relentless in his march towards Dance music supremacy. He returns at the turn of the Festival season to unleash this brand new delight, who’s collaborator has been kept under tight wraps. The track has build enough momentum and guesses from around the Dance Music fraternity, as most audiences seem to touch upon the fact the arrpegiated drumline is unmistakably an Oliver Heldens contribution. Even so, the track is definitely an interesting merger between two distinct sound styles that seem to be overtaking the EDM fraternity.
Opening up with a shallow drum and snare combo, the track kicks out a devastating electro drop that spells out a brilliant fusion of Deep house & Electro house in a rare semblance of the two genres. Definitely one of those tracks you can groove to and bring your hair down to as well, the track builds through oscillating synth melody and that familiar Martin Garrix ping-ponging FX. Looks like we’re going to see some more interesting collaborations between various artists across genres, but till then we can keep guessing just who is this mystery collaborator.
