After singles like ‘Turn Me On‘ and ‘Where Them Girls At’ , David Guetta has yet again teamed up with US based rapper Nicki Minaj and Afrojack for his latest single for the album ‘Listen’. Just like their previous collaborations, ‘Hey Mama’ is also set to become a crowd favourite. This track is a little different though, with booming trap beats and blaring synth lines. Minaj’s vocals give the track the true hip hop feel making it a Guetta production with a twist. This definitely represents one of David’s most interesting releases yet as it not the sound the producer usually works with. It will be interesting to see the fans respond to this one.
The lyric video has adapted an interesting cartoon strip concept. It follows a stunt-biker riding his way across a giant female body as the vocals in the backdrop urge him on. The track has already gained a lot of popularity, following in the steps of some of the other releases by the producer such as ‘Lovers On The Sun’ , ‘Dangerous’ and ‘What I Did For Love’.
