Knife Party‘s upcoming album Abandon Ship has us at the edge of our seats now, and why won’t it with it’s incredibly clever and intriguing previews? The latest tracks to find their way to Rob Swire‘s Soundcloud are the tracks Give it Up and Superstar. While one is a track infused with tints and shades of reggae, the other takes on disco in its 9 second existence, wondering “Oh my god what the f**k is this disco shit, what happened to the dubstep?” Needless to say, the two snippets have us craving for more and in awe of the diversity Abandon Ship has in store for us after Boss Mode, Resistance and Begin Again. Here’s what Swire has to say about the album:
I realised that if an artist I liked released an album of old tunes, I'd be pissed off. So we wrote 12 from scratch, and it took FOREVER
