Remember that “When Will The Bass Drop” sketch by Saturday Night Live that went viral everywhere a couple of weeks back? The video gained 7 million views by poking fun at the commercial side of EDM.
Even though the whole satire highlighted the “easy money” culture of DJing, the soundtrack to this sketch in fact caught every one’s attention with its catchy tune. ‘When will the bass drop’ was the brainchild of Lonely Island, Lil Jon and Sam F and their track recently received a dance-floor friendly remix by Slander. The DJ duo, tweaked the build up and the drop to give it a ‘festive trap’ makeover which calls you out to the dance floor.
