Dualist Inquiry

Sahej Bakshi, best known as Dualist Inquiry has embarked on a magical journey. He just released his Doppelganger LP on his own label Dualism Records. This 9 track album brings together all his musical influences & skills and I must say the album is top notch!

Track list:

Specter

This slow paced track begins more like somewhat of a lounge track. It picks up with rather heavy beats and synths very typical of Dualist’s glitch hop style.

6am

The guitar riffs make this melodic track stand out for me. It’s a track I would listen to as I watch the sunrise. The electronic beats pick up mid way and transform this garage-rock-electro type track.

One More Thing

One More Thing is what would you’d get if U2 and Kaskade made music together. Definitely my favourite track in the album. Well tweaked, well produced.

Exile

This track is beautiful. It gets you swaying with it’s up tempo beats, in addition to mellifluous violins playing in the background.

Anethema

On the heavier side, this track has great distortion and calms down mid way with a robotic voice that can be heard through it. Tribal and futuristic sounds combined is what Anethema is.

Origin

With a peculiar rock feel to this one, it’s got drum beats in just the appropriate amount. Perfect tones and rhythm makes this track a bangin tune!

Blitzkrieg

Chopper sounds. War noises. Blitzkrieg is upbeat with all the components of a rich polished track.

Isoterra

Isoterra is an intricate maze of different layers of sounds unwinding through and through. The dynamic musician has outdone himself with Isoterra. With vocals placed randomly to enhance the rhythms, it has a soft sound and you can sense a slight hint of grime in right amounts.

Soleil

A perfect blend of guitar and electro beats, it transforms your surroundings into the calmest environment imaginable. You end the album unbelievable happy hearing this track.
