We at team Bangin Beats, believe in supporting all kinds of talent in the Electronic Music Industry, especially if it’s good.  We are of the view that if it’s good, why keep it to ourselves? After all sharing IS caring.

On that note, we’ve got a very talented young DJ/Producer from Mumbai. Akash Gulati, popularly known as Skyto in the Mumbai club scene, has recently signed on to Germany’s Betty Beat Records.  And he’s recently released his very first EP, “Stranka/Bonkers” containing two very intelligently produced electro/progressive house tracks. Both of these are very anthemic by nature.

Talking about the track Stranka.  It starts off with a very melodic piano riff that blends into a very catchy synth hook and a  progressive chord progression layered in, with a pick up that keeps you in anticipation of something big.  And then the melody drops to a hard driving bassline with pulsating beats. A  brilliant big room production.

Talking about Bonkers, it starts off with a bang, till it breaks to  serene piano melody that gives way to a very catchy saw bridge with a 3/8 beat. Once at the drop, all inhibitions are lost with a sort of hardstyle electro vibe that’s very much like current chart smashers. Very aptly titled, this one will truly get you to go ‘bonkers’.
