Much to the whooping glory of all his countless fans, Nucleya launched his brand new release ‘Raja Baja’ in a cross-country tour that promised some crazy energy and powerful music. After whipping out some serious good stuff at his NSCI Mumbai concert, he proceeded to his Pune for launching his latest album, amidst high fanfare.

Pune being a self-declared student haunt and a popular place to find modern electronic music lovers amidst its melting pot culture, played host to the Indian people’s favourite dance music talent with a successfully epic-ed out concert, all in glory of Nucleya’s new album launch. And so it was, that amidst the chilly weather and chilled out crowd, did Nucleya drop the most banging of all albums, leaving the thousands gathered in some sort of permanent euphoric state, with their heads banging and feet clamoring on repeat mode.
The Venue
Held at the lawns of one of Pune’s most magnificent and refined Hotels: The Westin, in the trendy part of Koregaon Park, a place that plays host only for the most special and rarest of occasions, the gig already held the promise of being a memorable one. Decked out in all its nocturnal splendour, the venue was a beautifully blinking set-up with the appropriate equipment, several subwoofers and plenty of legroom space for all those busting their moves, with a massive stage and all the elaborations that accompany it, pimped out for the most exaggerated of effects.

The Music
An event that quite literally promised to be all about that bass, all the stops were pulled out to ensure that fans were left constantly raging. Nucleya himself was in the blaring spotlight, but his opening acts dished out some fun numbers as well.
As part of the Album Launch tour, connoisseurs and creators of Indian Bass music, the twerk-inducing DJ Su Real and native artist Mojojojo kicked things off for the day with opening acts that were heavy, bouncy, and filled with crowd-pleasers.

It was only when the real bass Raja took centre stage that the energetic crowd stood with bated breathes in prospect of what he would unleash, and their expectations were surpassed brilliantly by the very brilliant Nucleya.
Building upon the breeding anticipatory atmosphere, Nucleya ushered things in with some of his older crowd-pullers, kicking it off with ‘Laung Gawacha‘ and then proceeding with famed hits like ‘Heer‘, ‘Little Lotto’ and ‘F**k Nucleya’, shattering the screaming crowd with his bass-heavy magic. The crowd went wild to his hard hitting, raw energy as thousands of arms and legs indulged in a battle to outdo each other’s moves.
Finally, once he was done teasing the audience’s stomping feet and lively hearts, much to the elation of the cheering audience, Nucleya wrecked his havoc with previews of his all-new album, the single attraction for a huge attendance.

Nucleya’s new album ‘Raja Baja’ zipped onto the scene, creating the most explosive sound, with it’s infectious vocal reverbs, fast-paced tempo, and a profound bass that takes mind-blowing to an all new level of blasting. Energy levels soared to the maximum as Nucleya deftly took control of the crowd by dropping some of the sickest, heaviest, catchiest tracks on an epic collision course.
After dishing out a brilliant set, brimming with addictive bass blasters, Nucleya headed towards a smooth finish with his Kavya Trehan accompanied cannon ball: ‘Take Me There’, as the power-jammed concert roared in all the fans glorious ecstasy.
The Visuals
Accompanying some of the most energetic music on stage were visuals that transcended not only expectations, but capabilities as well. In a marvelous multi-level set-up, visuals, exclusively created and curated by the mighty talented visual masters Wolves, blared out their graphic texture.
It truly was beautiful as one watched Nucleya’s energy-filled tracks being complemented and enhanced by electrifying visuals that amplified the experience ten fold, painted in the trippiest, most alluring and scintillating electronic display.

The Vibe
Dynamic, vigorous, weighted and lively, there’s no denying that this concert couldn’t have had a less energetic ambiance as the enthusiastic crowd stomped and swayed and swung to every song that blared through the subwoofers. Keeping the frequency low and the energy levels high, the Raja Baja launch was a jet-powered, confetti-fueled craze that impressed upon all its attendees.

Nucleya’s Pune Leg of the ‘Raja Baja’ Album Launch tour was no doubt a memorable night for all his screeching fans and successfully slated his position as the Bass god amongst the spirited student body, yet the excitement has only just begun.
