
The highly revered Magnetic Fields Festival, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Alsisar Mahal, Rajasthan, has announced the first batch of artists for its 2016 lineup, and it looks incredible.
Heading to the festival this year would be electronic music virtuosos such as Floating Points (DJ set), Roman Flugel and Dorian Concept, while dubstep initiator Pinch and Red Bull Music Academy selectee for Montreal 2016, Oceantied, will also be a part of the lineup, on the Red Bull Music Academy North Stage, which will feature Floating Points and Roman Flugel.
The South Stage will feature Prateek Kuhad, Burudu, an ambient act from Mumbai, Delhi-based dreamy psychedelia band, Begum, and Narendra Kumar and Shreyas Dipali, a collaborative act from Bengaluru. Japanese experimental electronica producer Daisuke Tanabe will take centre stage at the South Stage , while ambient electronica act Napoleon Gold from Luxembourg will make their Indian debut at Alsisar Mahal.
The newly built BFR Soundsystem will also be making an appearance at the festival, at Desert Disco, with a lineup that’ll include Delhi Sultanate, Begum X and Dakta Dub.
