Getter has been dropping some serious heat lately. While the LA producer/DJ has already churned out remixes for DJ Snake, Marshmello, Borgore and more in recent months, he has steadily put out a healthy amount of originals including his eclectic Radical Dude EP which was released earlier this year on OWSLA.
Making a return to the Skrillex-led label, Tanner Petulla‘s latest Wat The Frick EP is loaded with energy and is a testament to his presence on the incredible OWSLA roster. While listeners have already been treated to the monumental title track, the talented producer follows it up with a crazier new VIP mix which shows off a ridiculous synth work backed by wicked samples.
Next up is “Hecka Tight” which sounds equally tight and clean as its namesake. A moombahton-meets-dubstep piece which boasts of an impeccable flow and multiple vocal samples is a high-pitched monster which doesn’t fail to impress. As the energy levels continue to peak even further, “Fricken Dope” is an absolute gem which doesn’t feel anything less than a rare collectible item. Packing in quintessential dubstep sensibilties, the track unloads heavy fire like a machine-gun!
“Cool As Frick” is yet another moombahton-inspired piece which further expands on his diverse production skills. And if you were still in the search for that proper kick, “Sick Jet Pack Bro” is here to serve you with a proper dose of absolute chaos.
“2 High” with the highly talented underground rapper $uicideBoy$ sees him delve back to his hip-hop oriented vision as the two team up for an absolute hype anthem! Having already dished out a collaborative “Radical $uicide” EP earlier this year, their partnership continues to hit the right notes.
Rounding up the colossal EP is “Something New”. Staying true to the title, the tune shows off the melodic and critical side of the powerhouse act making up for a chilled out future bass jam. Unarguably his biggest work till date, check out Getter’s brand new EP below.
