It’s just been a year since Armin van Buuren released Embrace, but that hasn’t stopped the Trance veteran from hitting the studio yet again for a new album. With an EP, in the form of ‘Old Skool‘ already under his belt this year, the ‘Ping Pong‘ producer has already started work on a new album that will surely appease the Trance purists.
During his recent Q&A on Facebook from Creamfields, Armin confirmed that he’s working on a new album under his GAIA alias. For the uninitiated, GAIA is Armin’s Trance alias with fellow Dutchman and the one half of Rank 1, Benno De Goeij.
This news will definitely come as a surprise for a number of Armin fans and Trance purists, who haven’t been really pleased with the direction his sound has taken of late, moving more towards big room. While there are no details about the progress of the album, we’re pretty excited to see Armin go back to his roots with this upcoming album.
