Having gained a sweet spot in GQ Mags’ Top 50 Most Influential People ranking this year, Gaurav Malaker and Avinash Kumar are today putting an end to their 9-year old Club AV sets era. And just before they lay down the dance floors tonight at Raasta in HKV Delhi and tomorrow in Mumbai, the duo have just delivered a truly liberating remix of Australian singer-songwriter and musician RY X’s mesmerising single ‘Deliverance’.
Kicking off in their typical style of punchy deep housy beats, Blot! transform the original entirely to provide an exhilarating remix. Wicked synth pattern drives the number towards the melody from the original and graduates to the hypnotic vocals from RY X. The track builds up with complex arrangement of surreal piano riffs and modular sounds to explode into a a killer foot-taping dance floor oriented climax.
