M.I.A and Diplo have finally put aside personal difference to join forces once again to craft their latest tune “Bird Song”. Announced by the UK-based vocal talent earlier this month, her latest track is all set to feature on her upcoming album “A.I.M” alongside Blaqstarr‘s version of the same which is primed for a September release.
While the track also faced some issues ahead of its release as Interscope Records blocked the entire proceedings, the label has finally given a green signal to the Diplo-produced single. While Blaqstarr offers a more stripped out production to accompany’s M.I.A’s vocals, Wes adds his global touch to the original with a sweeping dancehall-inspired beat taking over and ultimately, crafting yet another eccentric track only these two can conjure up.
