Toronto based DJ/Producer D-Unity has had an immense self-coached career through a rooted belief in quality music. With releases on major record labels such as Toolroom, Ultra and Armada to name a few, he has got himself into to a stiffen place as one of the world’s most lauded producers in the dance music circuit. Next up on techno producer’s mighty Unity Records is an EP that features a bangin remix from India’s techno export Arjun Vagale. Having already a few solo releases this year and latest big one being his Indecision EP (only on Vinyl) on Quartz Records, with this one Vagale shifts forces for a stellar rendition of D-Unity‘s ‘Holy Name’.
Hard-hitting right from the start following the techno producer’s typical style, the vocal sample ‘Holy Name’ from the original takes space gradually until the peak time synths come in favour of the main part. Wicked modular sounds at the climax followed by the vocals from the chorus provide for an exhilarating and fulfilling vibe. One for the peak-time moments during a midnight techno set, Arjun Vagale’s remix of D-Unity’s ‘Holy Name’ is out now, alongside remixes from Alberto Ruiz & Carlos Perez.
