The Sunday Times Rich List for 2016 has been revealed and I couldn’t feel any less poor. Jokes aside, the annual list edited by Ian Coxon packs some big names from the music industry and also consists of a fellow producer from the electronic music community named Calvin Harris. Already being considered as the wealthiest person in the game, the Scot joins the list of legends which includes Sir Paul McCartney, U2, Sir Elton John and more.
If reports are to be believed, the celebrity producer has also managed to triple his wealth since his first appearance on the list in 2014. For 2016, he is in 27th position with a fortune of £95 million. Also, talking about Calvin‘s phenomenal rise and its longevity, Ian said,
“Calvin is a surprise – he’s so successful and gets paid so well. People get in fashion and have a great success. I don’t know whether his success will continue at quite the same rate.”
