Ever since announcing his debut studio album, Kygo has had the entire electronic music community pretty stoked. Having set the release date to be February 12, fans of the tropical house wunderkind were left disappointed after he confirmed there will be a delay in the release, stating that he needed more time ensure that the album is of the best quality he can churn out.
However, the Norwegian has announced that the album will be released on May 13th, with 3 singles from the album set to be released on 18th March, 1st and 22nd April respectively.
The first single off the album, ‘Fragile‘, was declared as the World Record for Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. A far cry from his tropical house sound, the track features Labrinth’s evocative vocals and subtle guitar strings, giving it a very cinematic feel. Having already premiered it the previous week, you can check out the studio version of the track here below!
