After building much anticipation and teasing, Justin Blau aka 3LAU finally dropped his much-awaited compilation of remixes and mashups on his birthday. Justin gives away the 5th volume of his Dance Floor Filth series as a free download to thank his fans for their amazing support. This compilation contains 10 tracks, portraying 3LAU’s talent yet again with excellent mashups and remixes of some recent hot favourite tracks. A pulsating progressive house remix of Justin Bieber‘s recent tropical house hit ‘Sorry’ is also a part of the aforementioned compilation. It’s quite an amazing thing to see Tropical House reach new heights in 2015, and it’s nothing new that after a successful hit with Skrillex and Diplo, Bieber climbed the Tropical House bandwagon and delivered a new album, Purpose. 3LAU has also delivered some of the most happening tracks of 2015 like “Alive Again” with Emma Hewitt and “The Night” with Nom de Strip.
3LAU uses the chorus chants very effectively in his remix of ‘Sorry‘. By keeping the energy high from the start, as the track breaks with Bieber’s vocals, 3LAU unleashes an amazing chord progression in the form of a perfect blend of piano and smooth synths. The pitch-shift builds towards the energetic drop with the same progression holding the lead with moving synths and a strong bassline.
