Reworks of old songs are always tricky. A good rework blends the essence of the original track with current trends seamlessly. There have been some really good remakes, and some really horrendous ones. This rework of Jefferson Airplane’s 1967 hit White Rabbit falls somewhere in between.
Produced by Dutch giant Sander Van Doorn and upcoming house music producers Pep & Rash, their heavily reworked rendition of White Rabbit features vocals from the original song layered on a Mexican-themed background score, followed by a bass-driven drop that’s commonplace in every deep house track on Spinnin’.
