Zedd Reports Zero Hospitalizations For his Sold Out Show In LA
As Zedd is on his True Colors Tour, his recent show at Staples Center in LA has been catching quite some buzz because of its state of the art visuals and live event production. For this legendary show Zedd himself said,
Last night a dream came true.
I played a concert at the Staples Center in LA!!
A night I will never forget!!!
As we know the security at EDM festivals and shows are a hot debate right now. Many would side on this topic stating it’s festival organisers’ job to keep the attendees off drugs and substance abuse while some would say that it’s the attendees’ job to stay away from such things for their own safety. Recently, LA country officials stated that a vote had been passed to “explore a possible temporary ban on major music festivals on county property” and “examine security and safety measures used at such festivals.”
In response to their efforts to ban the EDM shows in LA, Zedd took to Twitter to describe his recent performance at the nearby Staples Center.
Just FYI: To everyone who's trying to ban electronic music shows in LA- at a sold out Staples Center we've had 0 transports to the hospital.

It seems like a simple fact that banning EDM shows altogether will not solve the issue of drug abuse, is not clear to the authorities. As per the reports, Zedd’s show at Staples Center had very average security unlike big festivals and still there has been no case of drug abuse or overdose. It’s up to us, the “Ravers” to be in it just for the beautiful music it is. We should refrain from doing anything which will ultimately be blamed upon the EDM scene. What are your views on this hot debate? What do you think of Zedd’s bold move? Don’t forget to comment.
