Brazil seems to be becoming the latest destination for electronic music festivals. After Tomorrowland hosted its first ever Brazilian edition in the city of Sao Paulo, earlier this April, another major festival is headed down to Brazil.
As EDC, Las Vegas reached its penultimate day, Insomniac announced the inaugural edition of EDC, Brazil, all set to take place in December 4-5, 2015. The festival will be in collaboration with Time for Fun, a South American entertainment company, and will be held at Autódromo de Interlagos in Sao Paulo.
Speaking to Billboard about the expansion to Brazil, Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac said “Hosting EDC in Brazil is fulfilling my longtime dream of taking the festival to the beautiful continent of South America. Insomniac and our local partners will work hard to plan a truly unique experience and I’m excited for more Headliners across the globe to join in.”
