When Diplo and Skrillex joined hands together for their collaborative project ‘Jack U’, we were pretty sure that their highly innovative minds in dance music are gonna bring a lot more than just music for fans. With unique background of hip hop in Diplo’s life, shared with the punk rock base of Skrillex, their ground-breaking combination is gonna last for years to come. Recently in a forty minute interview with Hot 97, the heavyweights threw some light on hip hop crossover state of EDM and its consistently varying scene.

The whole interview turned out to be one of the most interesting talks that Skrillex and Diplo have ever done. They discuss about the over saturation in the market and how it is so easy to project your music to the masses within minutes by uploading on SoundCloud. During the early stages of these big shots’ careers there was no SoundCloud or internet, so their music was geographically limiting.
