The Dutch have never failed to show their love for dance music. And it’s very evident from the number of leading DJ’s and producers that hail form Netherlands. And in order to honour them, PostNL is set to issue 5 set of special edition postage stamps featuring Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Dash Berlin and Afrojack.

The stamps, which will be in luminous, vivid colours, will be made available to the public on Monday, 6th of October.
PostNL CEO Herna Verhagen will be handing out each star their own set of stamps during the opening ceremony of Amsterdam Dance Event on the 15th of October.
PostNL is the heart of society, so we like to bring stamps that meet everyone’s perceptions – we are proud that we can honour these heroes in dance!” she said.

The designers of the stamps, Mark Klaverstijn and Paul du Bois-Reymond, who will also be present during the event, explained their decision to feature these artists in this unique way. “For us it was immediately clear that the festive atmosphere of a dance event was leading, allowing us to be colourful with the stamps and for the portraits of the DJs take centre stage”.

The stamps will also feature an invisible code, that can be scanned with the Cee App (available for free download in the App Store or Google Play Store), and unlock five excerpts of the artist’s latest tracks.

This laurel adds another feather in Hardwell’s cap, after winning the Best Global DJ and Best Progressive/Electro House DJ at the 2014 IDMA Awards in Miami, and getting nominated in 3 categories in the 2014 MTV European Music Awards.
