There are some feelings that can rarely be explained in mere words. Like when one finds the perfect partner for anything in life (be it the perfect spouse, be it a perfect co-pilot or even the perfect strike partner in football). The same rule goes for finding the perfect Raving/Raging partner. To help find that person, follow these 11 Rules & you are sure to have, and become, ‘The Perfect Rave Buddy’

 

1. Plan & chart out the DJs/Artists that are absolutely non-negotiable for both of you

No take backs

2. If two or more DJs/Artists are clashing with one another; INTRODUCE your buddy to a new artist (your choice) and be open to listening to a new artist (their choice) and then decide who to go for

Never know, you may find your NEW FAVOURITE DJ!

3. Take turns holding the backpack of ‘RAVE NECESSITIES’

Well don’t actually say it

4. Be prepared to take turns giving your buddy a shoulder ride when their favourite DJ is performing or their favourite songs are being dropped

Note: Don’t skip shoulder day

5. When taking a break to recuperate from all that raging, pick a common spot and DO NOT move so your buddy can find you easily

Stay… ALWAYS stay…

6. Take turns to fill water, buy food, booze & refreshments, etc.

Raging for hours can be stressful, so take turns instead of going together every time

7. DO NOT stress over who paid for what

Remember: ‘Money is here today, gone tomorrow; Good friends last a lifetime’

8. Wait for each other while taking toilet breaks

There’s always a way to make sure they don’t take too long ;)

9. Bring attention to your buddy of any and every gorgeous babe/guy that catches your eye

The ‘1 to 12 o clock’ method is most effective

10. Bring to notice something unique (people in hilarious/awesome costumes, a cool setup in the festival, a fun game to be a part of, etc.)

Take a picture with them to look back on

11. And most importantly: Both should let each other enjoy, undisturbed, being in your musical bubble of happiness and joy! After all music should be the top reason why you’ll have gone for any festival!
