Stirring up another round of controversy (if we don’t have enough of that already), DJ Mag #1 listing Hardwell has hit back at Seth Troxler regarding his comments about Avicii earlier this year.
Originally starting off at the International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza, Troxler raised a lot of eyebrows when he described Avicii and his manager Ash Pournouri’s relationship as a “Milli Vanilli situation”, questioning why the latter was included in production credits. He had also branded the producer a “f***ing c**t who wouldn’t even speak to the nurse” after falling sick at Ultra Music Festival.
Obviously, Hardwell hasn’t taken too kindly to all this, who called the comments “bullshit” and “really unnecessary“.
“Why should you hate on Avicii? He’s an amazing, talented guy, and everything he [Troxler] said about him and Ash [Pournouri], that Ash had to answer everything in the hospital, is just the biggest bullshit I’ve ever heard. I’ve known Tim for over six years and he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.”
“We’re all doing the same things, we’re all in this business for the love of music, even if you play techno, deep house, main stage or big-room house, you know? I don’t get it, spending so much hate and time on doing that, we should appreciate each other.”
