The analytics company, ‘Next Big’ created an algorithm for the billboard chart which tracks artists and their current stance though social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Myspace, Soundcloud, Twitter, Vevo, Wikipedia and Youtube on the basis of statistics on new followers/likes, plays, and views while taking into account reactions that are studied and monitored to rank which artists are trending the most. Keeping this data under consideration, the chart positioned Martin Garrix on the 39th slot. His name stood amongst some of the most popular global figures like Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and Eminem, and he even beat prominent DJs like David Guetta and Calvin Harris at it.
Garrix’s manager, Scooter Brawn who has been credited for peaking popularity of stars like Justin Bieber and Psy, also has a key role in expanding the young artist’s social reach extensively.It’s certain that Garrix has made his mark in the dance music world and will continue to thrive for a long time.
